Education that opens doors.

Change The Act Educate is about giving young people access to skills that build confidence, communication, and direction, whether they step onto a stage or not.

Because the truth is, many young people don’t see themselves in creative spaces.
They assume it’s “not for them.”
They switch off before they’ve even had a chance.

We exist to change that.

Our Approach

We use drama and creative practice as a tool for learning.

Not as an end goal, but as a way in.

Through structured, practical sessions, students don’t just learn ideas.
They experience them, test them, and reflect on them.

This makes learning:

  • More engaging

  • More memorable

  • More applicable to real life

What’s in it for learners?

Alongside creative skills, students develop:

  • Confidence in speaking and presenting

  • The ability to express thoughts clearly

  • Emotional awareness and empathy

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Problem-solving and adaptability

  • Resilience and independence

These are often called “soft skills.”

In reality, they are the skills that shape:

  • How people communicate

  • How they work with others

  • How they navigate challenges

Why is it important?

Learner First

Everything we do is built around learners. We deliver workshops that are fun and engaging but will also teach skills that can be recalled in real-life situations.

Long-Term Benefits

Whether or not students follow a creative career, the skills they develop through drama will set them apart in employment, social settings and further education.
